Komunardů XXXV

Komunardů XXXV (K35) is an iconic building in the center of Holešovice, a short distance from the center of Prague, and very close to the bank of River Vltava.

The design of the house builds on the industrial heritage of Holešovice, and the desire to enrich the area with greenery. The corner, where the street space has been extended at the expense of the site’s footprint, has become a fitting welcome to passers-by and visitors alike. A smaller „gathering“ space in front of the main entrances, filled with cool irrigated greenery serves as a small oasis on the otherwise somewhat monotonous main street. The surrounding space is also lined with greenery, which winds its way to the upper floors of the building along several thin columns and is thus carried up to the corner tower.

The ground floor offers space for shops and cafes, the first and second floors of the building are dedicated to office space, and apartments are located on the upper two floors.

The project has received an award of the Stavebnictvi magazine, media partner of the Building of the Year 2021 competition.

Xypex Admix C-1000 NF was used for waterproofing of slabs and walls of the underground 3-level parking lot.

Komunardů XXXV (K35) je ikonická budova v centru pražských Holešovic v těsné blízkosti Vltavy. Návrh domu navazuje na průmyslové dědictví Holešovic a zároveň obohacuje území o zeleň. Nároží, kde byl na úkor půdorysu budovy rozšířen uliční prostor, láká kolemjdoucí i návštěvníky. 

Menší „shromažďovací“ prostor před hlavním vstupem zastíněný zelení slouží jako malá oáza na jinak poněkud monotónní hlavní ulici. Okolní prostor je rovněž lemován zelení, která se podél několika sloupů vine do vyšších pater budovy až k rohové „věži“ budovy. 

Přízemí nabízí prostor pro obchody a kavárny, první a druhé patro budovy slouží jako kancelářské prostory a v horních dvou patrech jsou umístěny byty.

Projekt získal ocenění časopisu Stavba, mediálního partnera soutěže Stavba roku 2021.

Pro hydroizolaci desek a stěn podzemního třípatrového parkoviště byl použit materiál Xypex Admix C-1000 NF.
